Dear Secret Santa,
I am writing this letter on behalf of a child I serve through the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) Program in Sonoma County. This 6-year-old is an incredible, artistic, and outgoing young person who has overcome significant challenges. After being removed from their parents' care due to neglect, they were found home alone with clear signs of malnutrition and abuse.
Thankfully, this child is now in a stable and loving placement, where they are thriving, learning, and exploring new hobbies and activities. To celebrate this pivotal moment in their life, I would love to take them on a shopping spree for clothes, essentials, and items to help personalize their bedroom—giving them a space to call their own.
It would be wonderful if a generous KZST listener could assist by providing gift cards to Target, Amazon, or Marshalls to help make this special experience possible.
