I am writing about a 75-year-old woman who has been a cherished Meals on Wheels client for seven years. Living alone with her beloved cat, she has a disability that prevents her from working, but her kindness and bright smile leave a lasting impression on every volunteer who visits.
Her cat, a devoted and protective companion, warmly greets all who come to her door. She loves celebrating the holidays and decorates her small home with festive touches all year round. Fresh flowers, often gifted from local stores, bring her joy and brighten her dining table.
This holiday season, what would truly lift her spirits is a cozy, warm blanket for her and her cat to share during chilly nights, along with a pair of warm slippers (size Medium) to keep her comfortable in the mornings. And of course, a special toy and some treats for her loyal feline friend would be a perfect touch to honor the true “master” of her home.
Thank you for helping bring warmth, comfort, and joy to this wonderful woman and her treasured companion.
